David R. Dooley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Dooley earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his B.S. in Pharmacy with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Dooley is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Texas Medical Association, Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Texas Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Dooley also serves on the board of Any Woman Can.

Dr. Dooley’s clinical expertise includes complicated obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including the completion of the master’s level course in gynecologic robotic surgery. He has a special interest in female hormone replacement therapy, nutrition and weight loss management.

Dr. Dooley is married and has two daughters. Some of his hobbies include exercise, reading, playing and collecting guitars, cooking and painting.

Dr. Dooley has been awarded Best Doctors 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 by Scene in SA Magazine and named Top San Antonio OBGYN Physicians in San Antonio, 2012.
