Registered Medical Assistant – Full-time

Locations:  Downtown, Westover Hills

Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., some late evenings and Saturday hours

Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, at least one year of clinical experience required.

  • Assists physicians with patient care
  • Prepares patients for exams or treatment
  • Prepares and administer injections
  • Takes patient history and vitals
  • Phlebotomy
  • Triages patient calls

Registered Medical Assistant – Temporary Position with Full-time hours

Location:  Medical Center Tower I

Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., some late evenings and Saturday hours

Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, at least one year of clinical experience required.

  • Assists physicians with patient care
  • Prepares patients for exams or treatment
  • Prepares and administer injections
  • Takes patient history and vitals
  • Phlebotomy
  • Triages patient calls

PSR I Communication Specialist – Full-time

Location: Medical Center Tower I

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., some late evenings and Saturday hours

Minimum one year of experience in an appointment scheduling position, preferably in a medical practice setting. Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, etc. Must be able to type 30 wpm.

  • Uses customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly on the phone
  • Reviews and responds to telephone messages and emails on a daily basis
  • Uses manual/computerized system to match physician/clinician availability with patient’s preferences in terms of date and time
  • Registers new patients obtaining all necessary information, instructs patient to use the Patient App for test results and physician communication
  • Enrolls patients into the Patient App through NextGen computer system
  • Maintains scheduling system so records are accurate and complete
  • Ensures updates (e.g., cancellations or additions) are put into the master schedule on a daily basis
  • Communicates as needed with physicians/clinicians and staff about any patient concerns/issues related to scheduling

PSR II-Check-in – Full-time

Location: Downtown

Hours: 8:30 a.m – 5:30 p.m., some late evenings and Saturday hours

Minimum one year of experience in a medical practice setting. Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills, be able to type 30 wpm and have experience using computer systems, software, mouse, keyboard and intranet.

  • Greets patients immediately upon arrival
  • Provides patient with appropriate paperwork to be completed
  • Answers telephone calls in a courteous manner and directs to appropriate staff
  • Prepares patient’s charts in advance; checks patient insurance eligibility status
  • Enrolls patients into the Patient App, Follow My Health, through electronic computer system
  • Obtains accurate information from patients and ensures all registration forms are complete and entered in the computer
  • Communicates as needed with staff about any patient delays
  • Maintains waiting room for a tidy and sanitized appearance
